Gain a better perspective to overcome challenges

We always feel better after an altitude adjustment, how about you? 😉

Just like an altitude adjustment makes us feel better, a fresh perspective can lift us to new heights in our endeavors. By gaining a better perspective, we can more easily overcome challenges and even use them to by a catalyst beyond anything we have achieved so far. So, let's talk about it!

Attitude is formed by bringing all of our previous knowledge and experiences about something together. It is rarely based on the current situation.

Do you enter into situations with outdated perspectives? By entering into new circumstances with outdated perspectives, we risk limiting our potential for growth and success.

One of the greatest gifts that we can give ourselves- and others- is to view the present situation with a fresh perspective. Yes, take into account your experience- because it is valuable in some cases. However, have the wisdom to understand that you have never been HERE before, in this situation, at this moment.

What can you do to gain a better perspective? How can you approach the challenge ahead of you without the past weighing you down?

Tips for a better perspective to overcome challenges:

1. Ground Yourself: Take a moment to ground yourself and center your thoughts. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and wiggle your toes. This simple exercise helps you become more aware of the present moment, setting the stage for a fresh perspective.

2. Tap into Your Inner Wisdom: Gently tap your fingers on your legs or chest, and as you do, remind yourself of the wisdom you've gained from past experiences. Acknowledge your growth and learning journey, for it has equipped you with valuable tools to face the unknown.

3. Embrace the opportunity: recognize that each situation is unique, and you have never been exactly "HERE" before. Embrace the uncertainty with a mindset of discovery. Be open to new approaches, new team members, and changes in the landscape. Embracing change helps you adapt and thrive.

4. Let go of negativity: negative thoughts about past people or outcomes can weigh heavily on your mind, clouding your judgment. Acknowledge the lessons learned, and then release any negativity that may hinder your progress. Free yourself to move forward unburdened.

5. Determine to stay in a mindset of discovery: what new tools have been developed, what new teammates can you bring in to the situation, what has changed in the market?

6. Enjoy the journey. You don't have to rush to get to "THE" final answer. Let your mind wander, appreciate contributions from others, take the pressure off to "know everything right now" and "getting it right" the first time.

As we venture through this week, let's remind ourselves of the power of a fresh perspective and how it can transform our lives. Embrace the altitude adjustment of your mind, and you'll find that with a renewed outlook, you're capable of reaching new heights in your personal and professional endeavors.

Happy Thursday, dear friends! May your week be filled with exciting discoveries and a perspective that knows no bounds!
