The world changed. The biology didn't.
We're training the system that closes the gap.
The biology is the mechanism. The people are the point.
WHY WE EXIST
The most powerful force on earth is a group of people who know how to show up for each other.
Technology, information, and the pace of change have evolved faster than our human systems can keep up with. The evidence is everywhere. In rising burnout, disconnection, political division and mental health crises. In workplaces where talented people can't access what they're collectively capable of. In leaders carrying more weight every year with fewer tools that actually work.

This isn't new. Throughout history, civilizations have gone through shifts like this, where the environment changed faster than the human systems navigating it. And every time, the societies that adapted weren't the ones with the most knowledge or the best technology. They were the ones that fundamentally shifted how their people worked and evolved together.

That's what Boredroom Breakouts™ exists to do. We developed Responsive Intelligence™ and Collaborative Intelligence™ as tools to train the biological system that hasn't caught up. We start in the workplace because that's where most people spend the majority of their waking lives. But the work doesn't stop there.

When that system is trained, teams don't just perform better. They thrive together. And businesses that unlock collective human potential don't just perform better. They make the world better.

THE FOUNDER
"If you would have told me years ago that I — an introverted humanitarian who spent her early years in women's prisons and orphanages — would end up inside corporate America training teams, I would have laughed until I cried."

Sarah Line
Originator of Responsive Intelligence™
Keynote Speaker · Team Performance Trainer · Founder, Boredroom Breakouts™
Leading diverse groups through women's prisons in Mexico, orphanages in Ukraine, and tsunami and sex trafficking relief in Thailand, Sarah witnessed something that would define everything that followed: the extraordinary power that emerges when people come together and overcome something they couldn't have faced alone.

Those experiences also showed her what was missing everywhere else. In her early career in business operations and employee benefits, she watched leaders carry the weight of engaging and retaining people while employees struggled to show up fully in environments that seemed to work against their humanity. Both wanted to thrive. The system between them hadn't been designed for it.
She kept asking the same question: why could diverse strangers in the most challenging environments on earth come together and perform at extraordinary levels, while well-resourced teams with every advantage couldn't access the same collective power?

The answer wasn't brilliance. It wasn't motivation. It wasn't culture. It was biology. The humanitarian environments had done something that no corporate training program was doing: they activated the biological system that drives how people actually behave under pressure, and they trained a new response. In real time. Together.

Sarah didn't set out to build a company. But when she couldn't find what she was searching for, she realized that was her purpose: to create what doesn't yet exist, but should, because it makes the world better.

Today she trains teams nationwide, pioneering an emerging field in biological human performance. She developed two constructs to define the work: Responsive Intelligence™ — an individual's trained capacity to engage their biological stress response and channel it into enhanced performance — and Collaborative Intelligence™ — the emergent team capacity that multiplies when individuals train their biology to work together.
"The problem wasn't brilliance. It was biology. And nobody was training it."
THE MISSION
Beyond the training room.
Funding the work that started it all.
Boredroom Breakouts was founded with a purpose beyond team performance. The majority of every engagement funds global humanitarian work; the same work that first showed Sarah the power of what humans are capable of when they come together.

Every engagement you choose with us funds the work we couldn't do without you.
Business has always had the power to change the world. This is how we are using ours to do it.
Humanitarian team experiences
For teams who want to go further, your training can become the ground for something even bigger. We offer humanitarian team experiences that take the work beyond the room and into the world.
When teams work — really work — everything follows:
performance, connection, health, meaning.

Businesses that unlock collaborative human potential don't just perform better.
They make the world better.
